Mitch Meagher, Applications Engineer
Meet Mitch Meagher (pronounced “mayor” not “meager”), the newest member of the NASVI team. Mitch joined us a few months ago as an applications engineer, bringing a fresh perspective to our operations. Although he’s new to the world of safety valves, Mitch has already made himself at home thanks to his keen problem-solving skills and commitment to customer satisfaction.
In his role, Mitch works closely with distributors to ensure they have the right valves for their customers’ pressurized systems, whether it’s for steam, air, gas or liquid. “We help make sure things don’t explode,” Mitch says, underscoring the critical nature of his and our work. One thing he’s found interesting is just how, when and where safety valves are used. He explains, “They’re everywhere. It’s like when you buy a car and notice how many others are out there.”
Before joining NASVI, Mitch spent a decade in logistics, working as a freight broker for various industries, from precast concrete to plastics and bobbleheads for Buc-ees’s, his personal favorite. A Johnson County native, Mitch graduated from Kansas State University in 2014 with an agricultural business degree—again a far cry from safety valves or logistics but proof that his diverse background only adds to his versatility.
On the personal front, Mitch and his wife, Taylor, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child this November. He’s also a passionate BBQ contest enthusiast and avid handball player. In his free time, you can find him participating in BBQ events or playing handball at local courts around town. He’s a huge fan of all things Kansas City and K-State sports.
We’re thrilled to have Mitch on board at NASVI, and we’re confident you’ll find his expertise and enthusiasm beneficial. Be sure to keep an eye out for Mitch, and don’t hesitate to say hello if you see him around. We recommend on Fridays when he’s wearing his self-admittedly ugly K-State Hawaiian shirt.
